My mission is to create and develop scalable, beautiful web applications that are actually useful.
I strive for top-notch technology and always try to get the most out of it to benefit users.
If I need something new to complete the mission, I will learn it.
Of course this needs listening, planning and building custom solutions that fit the purpose — not more, not less.

Born in the early 90s, I got my first computer when I was 6. When I played the first video games on it, I was wondering "Somebody must have told the computer what it should do — how does that even work?".
Since then this was the question that motivated me to learn as much as possible about it. My friends continued playing video games — I started to build my own (with mediocre success).
During school I tried to attend every computer science class possible. That made me learn C++ with 12 and Java with 16.
After school, things looked different — my interests changed and I started working in the event industry as a lighting designer. I toured the world with artists, I lit up corporate events and festivals.
But I never forgot about the old times when I tried to figure out how computers work. So in 2016 I started studying computer science to acquire that knowledge once and for all.
In 2020 Covid hit hard. I financed my studies freelancing in lighting design during that time and as the live industry shut down, my profession was useless all of a sudden.
At this point I had already learned the ins and outs of software development. I had no degree yet but I only missed out on math, theoretical computer science and the like. I always was more the hands-on type of guy anyway. So I started focussing on software development, quit university and got myself some dirty hands again.
